   Etlingera elatior  or Nicolaia elatior    A magnificent plant forming clumps of canes that grow up to 4 feet.  Leaves are bright green on the surface and purple-green underneath.  The large heads are bright red and nestle themselves in a crimson cone.  Perfect for use as a cut flower
