    Annona muricata

Soursop  - also known as prickly custard apple.  Don't be fooled by the name! The fruits produced by this small tree are actually pleasant and sweet. One of the easiest to grow of the Annona family.  Evergreen leaves grow to about 6” long. Cool three-petal, pale-yellow flowers bloom anywhere on the trunk or branches. Dark Green, irregular fruits follow and are dark green with a soft pliable spine covering. They taste like a pineappleHardy outdoors in zone 10-11.   Related to the custard apple.
