African Tulip Tree - Also called Fountain tree    A beautiful evergreen from tropical Africa grown for its stunning bell shaped flowers.  Deep green leaves accent scarlet to deep red flowers 2-4” long in the spring or summer.     Item # rsd - 97      

Sowing instructions: Soak seed overnight. Sow seed at 64-75°degrees F in standard good draining potting mix. 

Plant Care: Grow in a standard potting mix.  Water  moderately and feed once a month. Transplant when large enough to handle into pots. Grow in full light, water freely during growing season, sparingly in winter and feed once a month with a a liquid fertilizer. Keep humid if in dry conditions by occasional misting.  Minimum outdoor growing temperature is 55-59°
