 A Collection of Flowers

Gardenia Flower (Gardenia Thunbergia) an exceptional ornamental with an unforgettable scent.  Pure white flowers grow to about 3” and bloom profusely from winter to spring.  This is an easy plant to grow and is somewhat drought tolerant.  Likes an acidic potting mix and filtered light with humidity.  Keep lightly moist in winter.  Sow seed at 65-75 degrees.   item#rsd-28 

Passion Flower (Passiflora Sp.)     An exotic vine, great for hanging baskets or a trellis.  Produces very fragrant flowers. Sow seed at 55-64° F in a standard potting mix.  Grow in full light, water freely during growing season and sparingly during winter months.  Feed once a month.  Item#rsd-51 * See Flower!

Butterfly Flower (Bauhinia monandra) Also known as the Pink Orchid Tree or St. Thomas Tree and is a native to Burma.  The leaves are shaped like a butterfly and are slit in two equal parts.  The beautiful pink flowers are about 4” across and boom in March or April and are followed by thick, 9” seedpods.  Sow seed at 61° in a standard potting mix, grow in full light and feed once a month.  Water freely during growing season and moderately during winter months.  Min temp. 47°F.  Zones 9b  item#-rsd-93  All three only $8.99! A Collection Of Yellow and Gold

 New!  Yellow Bells  (Tecoma stans)  A small evergreen shrub-like tree that produces stunning trumpet-like yellow flowers that hang like bells up to 2” long. The plant blooms from late winter to early summer. The leaves are bright green and lance-shaped.  Sow seed at 64-70° F in standard potting mix.  Water freely during growing season and sparingly during winter months, grow in full light in well- drained soil.  Originates in the Guatemala region.
