Hibiscus Tiliaceus

    Sea Hibiscus   Also known as the Hau tree. This plant grows well by the seashore as well as inland areas.  A rounded crown blooms almost constantly in bright yellow flowers that turn a light orange as it ages through the day, then turning to a  dark red as they drop.  The interlocking branches make this perfect  for arbors.  Perfect for deck gardens and as a beautiful houseplant!

 Sow seed in standard potting mix at 55-64° F. Grow in filtered sunlight, water freely during growing season and sparingly during winter months. Feed once a month.  They like a slightly alkaline soil.   item # rsd -107

• Native to tropical Asia
• Also known as Mahoe and is grown as an ornamental throughout the tropics
