Eucalyptus Torquata

Coral  gum tree  A small tree from Australia with light brown stems and aromatic blue-green leaves.  Masses of salmon colored, umbrella shaped flowers rest against the backdrop of spectacular colored foliage.  

The plant makes a terrific houseplant! The flower buds look like little Japanese lanterns making it a perfect specimen plant for use in Bonsai culture.  

Sow the seed at 55-65 degrees, in neutral to slightly acidic soil and should not completely dry out.  Give full light and good ventilation.  Feed once a month and reduce watering in winter.  In the Myrtle family.  Item #r  rsd -14
