Lagerstroemia Speciosa

Queen’s Rose     or Crape Myrtle -  A stunning medium sized, deciduous tree with light brown peeling bark. Large clusters of rose like blooms flower from spring to fall ranging in color from lilac to deep purple accentuating bright green, smooth rounded leaves.  This makes a beautiful houseplant and a unique bonsai specimen!

Sowing instructions: Soak seed overnight. Sow seed at 50-55° F in standard good draining potting mix.  

Plant Care: Grow in a standard potting mix in full light.  Water moderately and feed once a month. Transplant when large enough to handle into pots.  Keep humid if in dry conditions by occasional misting. This tree is not fussy about soil type. Zone 10 - 11 for standard growing outdoors otherwise grow as a beautiful greenhouse or house plant.
