An unbeatable old time favorite that is easy to grow in most any garden.  Gardeners grow this one for its canning ability and robust flavor! Deep maroon with a smooth texture that is sweet.  Tops can be cut and eaten raw in a salad or by themselves.  Use for fresh, canning, pickling and even freezing.
