Cabbage Ruby Ball

F1   Ruby Ball is one of the best red cabbage plants you can grow! An early maturing and vigorous deep red heads form solid and compact  6-8 inch round heads with a mild, remarkably sweet flavor.  The heads weigh in at 3-4 pounds.   Perfect for extended fresh harvests and for storage.

Sowing instructions:   Sow outdoors in a well prepared seed bed in early spring or start indoors 2-3 weeks before setting outside  Sow thinly in rows 12 inches apart. Water well.   Optimum soil temperature is 55 - 75 degrees F.

Plant Care: For the biggest yields place plants in raised composted beds.  Water regularly.  Sow in July for a late fall harvest.
