Cabbage Golden Acre

 

One of the earliest cabbages! This versatile, round head cabbage is easy to grow.  Heads are about 6 to 7 inches on smaller compact plants that grow about a foot high. Excellent cooked or raw in salads. Perfect for smaller gardens! Plant March to May for July to September harvests.

Sowing instructions:   Sow outdoors in a well prepared seed bed in early spring or start indoors 2-3 weeks before setting outside  Sow thinly in rows 12 inches apart. Water well.   Optimum soil temperature is 55 - 75 degrees F.

Plant Care: For the biggest yields place plants in raised composted beds.  Water regularly.  Sow in July for a late fall harvest.
