The deepest purple gives this hollyhock the most black flower color on the market.   A perfect plant for the back of perennial border beds. Flowers the first year from early sowings. Loves the sun and well-drained soil.  Sow indoors in February- March at soil temperature of 65°F. Keep moist.  Sow outdoors from May-June 1/4 inch deep. Flowers July to October.
