Phaseolus vulgaris  This superb yellow bean will grow anywhere in the country with sweet and juicy flavor and attractive, slender bright yellow pods. Pods are straight and stringless. Very disease resistant to bean mosaic virus and anthracnose. An early maturing variety that is excellent cooked or eaten right from the garden.

Plant seeds directly into the garden after your last average frost date in rich, organic, well drained, warm soil. Keep evenly moist but not soggy.  A great germinator for cool soils with easy to pick beans that stand out with bright yellow color. Use for freezing, canning and fresh eating.
