Datura and Brugmansia Brugmansia are better known as the beautiful Angels Trumpet. The evergreen shrubs are grown for the large trumpet shaped flowers that bloom from spring to autumn. Must be grown as a houseplant or greenhouse plant if not in zones 9 or higher. Not to be confused with Datura whose flowers grow upright, Brugmansia flowers hang down. Perfect for deck gardens, they will add a touch of the tropics to your living space. Water freely and feed every 3-4 weeks. Grow in well-drained fertile soil in full sun. Brugmansia seeds germinate sporadic and may spread over several months.
